ROME AND POMPEII -- Community Enrichment Center at CCC

An Educational Travel Program
March 12 - 24, 2010

Travel with former college teacher Beverly Berg to Rome, the premier city of Roman times and of the Renaissance, as well as Pompeii, Capri, Paestum, and Ostia. Offered exclusively through Coconino Community College.

$2,100, not including airfare, lunches, and dinners, $250 single supplement. Participants are strongly urged to sign up and get in a down payment of $500 by January 5, 2010 or before in order to ensure their places. Remaining payment for the program ($1,600) due January 26. The earlier participants get in their deposits the better, since group size will not be allowed to exceed 20, and as soon as we receive a threshold number of deposits we can give participants the go-ahead to purchase their airfare. Please do not purchase airfare before being given the go-ahead. Should we cancel the deposit is refundable, but airfare is not usually fully refundable. We reserve the right to adjust the price should the exchange rate rise more than 3% (1 euro = $1.43 at time price was set).

Participants interested in the program should consult Monika at 800.230.3322, 928.556.0853, or monika@avenuesoftheworld.com about payments and help with airline reservations, and Beverly Berg at bberg@linfield.edu or 928-214-7448 for more information on the program. Please consult Monika also about purchasing travel insurance, which is required of all participants.

Note: Participants must be in good health, able to handle their own luggage (pack light!), ready to walk several miles per day, climb stairs when necessary, use public transportation, and be content with modest accommodations.
